This is one of the earliest songs on this collection. It was recorded on a hand held digital field recorder that I’d bring to school with me, primarily, to record my friends saying stupid shit, but sometimes, I’d also record demos on it. This song eventually became “I’ve Got An Angel Up In Boston”. I wasn’t even 18 yet. Hence why, I’m fairly certain this demo was posted to myspace at some point. This song used to be really heavy for me in a lot of ways, for a lot of different reasons. As time passes, its weight lifts. It will still always be an important landmark. Just in case the Sunday morning papers print my obituary.
