This is another one of those, doesn’t sound very different from the final album version songs… so why include it? I always preferred this version in it’s spontaneous organic state. As soon as I completed the song and was happy with it, I recorded this demo, and began to share it. It felt pure and perfect, and important. It references my acknowledgement of a pattern of infatuation that I had been repeating since I was 14. An unhealthy pattern that I romanticized at the time, and sometimes, still do.
