This is a song off “This Changes Everything”. Not too different from the original, but one of my favorites so I figured I’d add it. This was one of the first songs written for the record, before I knew what the record was going to be. Written about hearing a friend tell me they cheated on their partner who they were outwardly deeply in love with and devoted to. It made me start to fear relationships, including my own, and question the important role that honesty and communication plays within them.
