I can’t believe we’ve almost reached the end. This song ended up on “This Changes Everything” but was written a while before while I was house sitting at my partners house while he was on his bands first tour. I decided to try using his bass and a cello that I didn’t know how to play to add some depth. The song is essentially about wishing a safe return for the band. It was a lonely, but hopeful time. I have always been very fond of this version of this song.
