The main structure of this song would go on to become “Tea In Twos & Threes” later titled “It’s All About The ___ We’ll Never Have”. This was the first and earliest lyrical iteration. The timeline is hazy, but it would have had to have been 2006… I recorded this demo probably sometime in march and then quickly rewrote the lyrics and released an early version on an EP titled “All Of My Friends Are Too Indie Rock For Me”. I’ve come back to this song often throughout the years, reworking and tweaking it. It is exciting to share this first, heard-by-few version with you all, even if it wasn’t completely finished!
