Here is another demo track that would end up on “This Changes Everything”. This demo, aside from some missing lyrics at the end isn’t too much different from the original. However, I included it on this collection because I think it is a sleeper song, a deep cut if you will. It is one of my favorites, but never seemed to take with anyone, or at least as far as I could tell. I also like the fact that this demo has the ANNOYING sound of a dying smoke detector scattered throughout. I feel like every apartment I lived in since I moved out on my own until maybe 2015, for some reason had a dying smoke detector that for whatever reason, NO ONE, not even myself, ever thought to change the battery of. I also like that there is some background roommate conversation occurring at the beginning. This song is a time machine.
